Recently, I went on the Wendy Williams show and it was simply fabulous. Waking up a five in the morning to be on her TV show was being up that early. Since the email that they sent instructed us to wear something bright and stay away from white, I did exactly that. I wore a canary yellow top with a pair of jeans. That outfit caught the eye of EVERYBODY watching!
I made it there before any of the other audience members arrived. In fact, Wendy pulled up about ten minutes after the cab dropped me off in front of the studio.
When we finally got in, I felt the excitment brewing. People began to take pictures as the staff greeted us and prepared us for seating. As we waited, we were provided with coffee and donuts.
Then, we were finally taken into the studio where all the action began. Once they got us seated, the party started. We were asked to come down on the actual floor and and music began to blast the speakers. Beyonce's single ladies came on and the queens on the floor immediately fell to position and started their routines. As I danced to the music, I thought to myself, am I really on the Wendy Williams show partying at nine in the damn morning? It was simply fantastic.
We were then asked to be seated and the show was off to a start.
Wendy came out and looked simply sensational. I always thought she was ok, but she was simply stunning for TV! She is also an amazon! I couldn't believe how tall she was. She came out and covered her hot topics and that was when I did the smartest thing I could ever do. I got up to make a comment!
Who would have ever thought that all those milions of people would see me across the country. Before I commented on the hot topic, which happened to be about Chris Brown and Rihanna, I told Wendy that I looked forward to sitting on her couch and luxuriating with her soon. Taken by my comment, she asked me if I was a singer. I told her that I was actually an author and she had a camo appearance in the book. She thanked me and told me how adorable I was. I felt great after speaking in front of the world.
After the show was over, my phone was buzzing like a buzzsaw. People were calling me from all over the place to tell me they saw me on the show. People also stopped me in the street to tell me they had just seen me. I felt so fuzzy on the inside! It was totally fantastic!
